@Vincent: So you're a lucky guy, how can i obtain such a low retinal persistence too?  ;)

I managed to take some photos of the effect:

The photos marked with "2" and "3" have been taken with short exposure time and you can see that some frames show up completely green or blue (that can only be detected using a cam).
The others are stills from clips taken while moving the cam around to simulate the eye-movement.
In all cases the tv-display showed still pictures!

You can prove the effect too by just holding a digicam towards the screen (again while showing a still picture on the screen) and checking if the colour-histogram is moving cyclically. If the cam doesn't have a histogram-feature, you can probably see the picture getting green or blue on the lcd of the cam. If not be sure to check different exposure times.

Hi,
I had a 40W2000 for a few months but it got damaged when my flat got broken into recently. My insurance has offered to replace it with either 40W2000 or 40V3000 - which one should I choose?
Thanks.

I try to get a good picture for about 4 weeks now  :-[
