LC37XD1E 37-inch Digital LCD TV & Xbox 360
« on: 26 July 2007, 06:53:00 PM »
Hi all.  I am a new user on this site and found it after a few hours of "Googling" some questions. I have recently purchased the Sharp LC37XD1E 37-inch Digital LCD TV with the built in DVB and mostly seems great.  I am however having problems with setting up my Xbox 360 to work on HD.  I am using the VGA HD AV Cable plugged into the pc input panel with the L&R audio cables plugged into a splitter cable so I get sound too.  The problem I have, is when I go into the Xbox 360 dashboard settings and try to change the display from 480 to 1080P, the screen goes black and reverts back to 480.  I have also tried the other settings ( 720i, 1080i and 1080P) and have the exact same problems.  I really hope someone can offer some advice which will allow me to get the best out of this unit.  Thanks in advance!   :(
