Advise in which one ? Toshiba 42X3030D vs Samsung LE40M87BDX

Can you please advise which one do you guys suggests me in getting my first HDTV among Toshiba 42X3030D and Samsung LE40M87BDX ?

You should have posted this in the "Which HDTV should I buy?" section. Not being picky but you'll get ALOT more views and advice there.

Anyway, my vote would be with the Samsung LE40M87BDX, simply because of the superior connectivity in comparison with the Toshiba. ;D

toshiba also supports hdmi 1.3

^^ yemeth may be referring to the three HDMI ports present on the M87 vs the two on the X3030D.

I have the 37x3030 and viewed from 10ft it is excellent with only minor noise on some broadcasts via humax pvr. Dvds are upscaled from a Tosh HDDVD drive so can't say how they look really.  :)
