Hi

I have just purchased the KDL40W4000 and I am calibrating...I note from the review that Vincent says about Overscanning setting

Overscanning on HDMI    0% with [Display Area] set to "Full Pixel"

I cannot find the set display area part of the setup on the TV? anyone any suggestions.

regards

Alan

Hi

Sorry not at home at the moment, but you have to press the 'home' button and then use the new PS3 style menus to get to that option. It is one of the options in the 'first' menu, the 'far left' one if that makes any sense? When I get home later I can try and give you the exact menu navigation.

Also I have a couple of questions. My HDMI Xbox360 image looks awful, blacks always look crushed. I have tried the various 'normal/intermediae' etc setting in the Xbox to no avail. Anyone have any ideas? PS3 looks excellent (with RGB limited set), and currently I run Xbox360 via VGA and it looks good. I can't helping thinking though that HDMI would offer best quality.

Lastly anyone managed to crack the service menu for correct  D65 yet? Warm 2 looks good, but can't help thinking properly calibrated would look much better, and as director intended.

Cheers

Mo
