Sharp 46xd1e settings?

hi,
After reading the review on the site, I got sharps 46xd1e.
However whenever all white looks bad - like an overexposed picture. And I find the shadow levels awful as well.

What exactly was meant by "proper calibration". Do I have to enter the service menu?
Are there some settings that can be suggested?

Hope anyone can help.

Hi funder

Try these:

Backlight: -4 daytime, -6 evening
Contrast: 35
Brightness: -1
Colour: -7
Tint: 9
Colour Temp: Low
Sharpness: -10
Black: Off
