Sharp LC46X20E
« on: 17 November 2007, 01:37:12 PM »
Hiya guys (and girls if there are any)

a bit of background, I bought a mirai 32" HDTV last year, whilst being a cracking screen and tv, I'm due a rather large end of year bonus in jan, and I've been lookin at an up to date 1080p TV that would stand the test of time more so than my lovely mirai.  I've being lookin around and with a maximum budget of around £1100 for the best 1080p panel with 3 HDMI's slot, 1st i was attracted to the samsung, the toshiba and now this 46" beasty of a sharp.  I was wondering if you have heard, or anyone that owns one has an opinion on it?

Cheers and beers in advance

Nick

hi, for me toshiba is really good LCD, may the blacks are not better than the samsung f86, but is cheaper. I don't know if in UK happens, but here in spain i have many friends with samsung f86 and always happens the same thing ghosting and banding. Is a very personal election but if i have to choose one i will buy it the sharp xl2e

happy new year
