Samsung LE40M86BD
« on: 23 February 2008, 05:23:48 PM »
Hi everyone,

Just trying to set up and customise the picture quality on my new purchase, got hold of the optimum settings (D65) but the set keeps defaulting back to the factory settings (dynamic). Even when I select the "movie" setting it goes back to the default after 15mins or so.

Very frustrating!!

Other than that the picture quality is fine unless you get too close to the screen.

Does anyon e know what i'm doing wrong??

Hi

It sounds like your Samsung LE40M86BD has been set to [Shop Mode]. Try some advice given here:

Warmest regards

Thanks for the prompt reply Vincent.

I followed the advice given and the TV was indeed in "shop mode", simple fix but strange that Samsung don't mention anything about it in the instruction manual!!
