TX-P42G20 Burn In or Retention?
« on: 04 July 2010, 09:13:24 AM »
Hey, I recently had the Sky News channel on for about 3 hours the other day and now whenever there is a bright or white background I can see the ghost of their logo, I've tried running pixel protector for a few hours and just had movies and games running but so far it doesnt seem to of faded any.

I'm just wondering if it will take a few days to remove itself or is it worse, is it permanently burnt in?

Takes a few days its just static charge in the cells holding the image in, ive had cod modern warfare 2 on my g10 for about 700hrs with its static HUD and no permanent retention.

there seems to be quite a bit of image retention from just a few minutes/hours of game play,  never noticed this before, surely that's not normal?
