New Flat TV
« on: 06 September 2010, 09:28:31 PM »
Hi,
I'm looking for a new flat screen.
My favorites at the momend are:

Panasonic TX-P42GW20, TXP42S20E
or
Phillips 40PFL7605H/12

Here are some informations:
Viewing habits:
45% Digital Sat
45% HD Movies over HTPC with XBMC
10% Internet with HTPC

Seat pitch on TV: 2,2m

Cost: about 1000€

At the moment I have an Philips  32" 100Hz tubes TV

I hope my english is not so bad^^

Samsung is also a good choice. Why don't you check it out.

Although recent Panasonic plasmas are relatively resistant to image retention and screenburn, I'd still be cautious spending a lot of time using it with a HTPC. I think the Philips just shade it due to your HTPC usage.

Warmest regards
