Just got off the phone to Samsung again, This time a very nice polite lady was extremely helpful  :), I doesn't take much to be pleasant to a customer LOL,

She took all details of my Player and the 2 3D Blu's it has trouble playing, She is going to contact me asap once its been investigated but did ask me to try the very latest F/W which only came out today, Bit of luck it holds the cure  :) ;D
Will report back later

Yeah Baz, Its not like a huge deal as the player was essentially free and is very very good at 2D Blu and DVD but as its a 3D player it should work for that too Lol, It makes me feel better tho just speaking to a member of CS that is pleasant  ;)

Thanks Barry, I use the Sammy for 2D movies and the Panny for 3D so its not a real big issue but as you know my Dad has the Sammy player and borrows all my 3D films  ;) so he can't watch some of them.
I feel confident that they will fix it. Still cannot believe this issue is not more widespread as it was a popular Player and i know a lot of people have it, Maybe nobody else has watched Cars or Toy story 3D yet  :)

No there is not. If you have a large projection setup and watch a lot of cartoons then you might notice Panasonic's supposedly better chroma upsampling (finer coloured details). Otherwise I think you'd be hard pressed to notice anything with 1080p/24 BDs.
