LG 42LE4500 Input lag
« on: 18 June 2011, 09:48:46 AM »
Does anyone have any information about the input lag on the LE4500?
The tv is to be used mainly for gaming.

I've seen people asking the same question in many forums but not receiving any reply.

Sorry but we haven't tested the LG LE4500. David measured an input lag of 38ms on the 42LE5900:

Thanks for your reply Vincent.

Do you know if the 42LE5900 uses the same engine as the 4500? Although I wouldn't imagine so as the 4500 is only a 50hz.

By reading your reviews on most of the 2010 TVs it seems that the more basic they are in functions the lower the input lag tends to be. I'm sorta hoping this is the same case with the LE4500 as it's a low end as well.

Once again, thanks for your help.

What about the LG LV3500?
I'm torn between getting that or the Panasonic X3 Plasma. 16ms is a MUST for gaming.
Currently I'm rocking the LK450(which is 16ms for non HD gaming) VA Panel, apperantly the ISP panels perform better on HD consoles. But due to health concerns i'm getting rid of it because of it's UV backlight.
