Hey Peeps,
Just to let you know where i'm at, Had several long Calls to JL yesterday  ::), I'm now waiting on a callback from them to arrange a delivery date for a replacement  :o.

I don't hold out much hope to be honest as theres a bigger percentage of 59 ers that Buzz than not. The set i have now has no dead or stuck pixels and no DSE so i am risking things but on the other hand this one has a very poor uneven screen coating and shows IR too.

I hope i can get one thats a good egg this time as i love the set otherwise ,

Cheers :D

Looks JL have been good helping you out mate, how long have you had this one Martin?

I know my next one i will purchase from them, TPS or Richer Sounds as they all seem to have excellent CS.

Well they only agreed after checking my answer phone mate, The message and an email clearly said they would send me a replacement but when i phoned them to arrange it they said i had to have a repair as its been just over 2 months. I'm pretty sure john has had an 'out of 28 day' replacement for a TV aswell at some point. JL have been good to me but you certainly need to keep an eye on things thats for sure.
I must admit having a delivery service is easier but i do like the lads at RS too !. I just hope i get a quieter one mate  :)

My VT30s were way over 28days but my local retailer is awesome so they exchanged the set after giving Panny a few chances to repair it. With my next fault they gave me a refund no questions asked.

With RS I just PM John and he sorts things out which is great. My replacement D8000 will be with me tomorrow  :D

OK guys,
Got my replacement up and Running, Its good news and Bad.

!st up i'm surprised the Panel or Bezel was not broken or Damaged as the Box was missing 1 raffia strap altogether and both ends had been fairlt stoved in.

Great relief there was no Damage,

F/W is the latest 1019 outta the box on a November build.

Bad news - Still a buzzer and possibly slightly worse.

Good news - PQ is superior as is the sound quality (now on Par with the 51").

Settings are now Cell 16, Contrast 85, and thats brighter than my last set was at higher values.

No DSE i have seen as yet and No dead or stuck pixels.

So it looks as if most of the 59" models are Tattoo Gun Buzzers with only a very few being quieter, I have totally had enough of swapping TV's now so i'm hoping like 'Insanity's D8000 the buzz will reduce a little with use.
Also what i noticed straight away is this one has very nice 'Whites' with all Default 2 point WB (as per the 51").

I am well chuffed with the much better PQ so hopefully i have a keeper if i can ignore the Buzz  :o :P :P

Old LG trick but try squeezing the frame of the set to see if it eases off.

You sure your not confusing that with the LG LCD's ? We used to squeeze the Bezels on those to eliminate Edge Bleed  :o
