Thanks for the warm welcome boys.I live on the isle of wight,so limited to only the big stores to look at . the wife has just come back from southampton shoping, poped into the Panasonic store looked at the 46gt30 thought it was smashing, I told her about some of the problems those sets are having i've read about on other forums. will also check out samsung 51D800 when i can.forgot to say the Pioneer tv still rules the roots. watch this space so lads

If you order from Amazon i have heard there Customer Service is very good. Or if you decide to go for a Panasonic there is a company based in Manchester called TPS who are excellent.
