I saw on the avforums a post saying that LG's picture processing for SD was amazing.

Knowing lg the prices will be reasonable too!

DigiUK have the 42LY95 in stock and for sale at £1198 with free delivery. :)

The Gadget Show have a 'First Test' on their site.

I hope to see a more professional review soon.

No not yet.

LG 42LY95 is quite interesting. Wide Colour Gamut, ?24p, XD engine not bad. The dynamic CR is about 5000:1 though.

Any estimate?  Is the review(s) coming in July, August or September?


42LY95's price is similar than Samsung LE40M86/87's. LG 42LF65/66's price is similar than Toshiba 42X3030D's.   

I'm myself more interested in 42LF65/66, because it is cheaper than 42LY95. My other option is Toshiba 42X3030D.

Our HDTV buying fund is running really low at the moment... altogether we've bought more than 10 TVs and lost wads. Please be patient, we'll get round to it once we have the necessary fund.
