Which Blu-ray and 5.1?

Thanks for the help re connections. Is there any truth with regards to quality of HDMI cables??  If so what do people recommend (without breaking the bank!)  I currentlu use a 1m cable which is black with blue at either end and has gold connectors (I don't know the make)

Don't spend too much on HDMi's, I would reccomend a High Speed V1.4 cable but some say its not needed, I get mine from here and they are excellent Quality/price and Service  >
