LOL :P, I'm seriously thinking of going back to the Light Side David  :o, Fed up with poor Motion on Plasma and Bright Scene Brightness Pops on the samsungs, According to some owners in the US the new E series have the same issue so my replacement set will more than likely have them :(.

Quite surprised that no reveiws mentioned this problem last year  ???.

It goes to show how personal the perceived quality of motion on a PWM-based displays is. I loved the motion on the Samsung displays - but I guess it's not possible for every plasma panel driving algorithm to trick everyone's eyes in the same way.

I guess it has to come down to my exceptional perception and super human powers then  ;D... LOL.

Seriously though i agree with you as the things i have read on all the forums plus the 'set in stone' plasma motion better than LCD motion 95% confer.

I'm gutted i am in that last 5% that see issues :'( , I will say tho that it seenms worse on my set than any other. At the weekend i had 'Fast n Furious' on tv, Well i know this film has some pretty fast camera action but it looked a total blurry mess with no definition at all. I have to say that static image or very slow pans and its the best PQ i have had (apart from the bright pops) which is even more frustrating !.

I've had a similar experience with DLP projectors. I see the advantages of them and I wish I could own one, but I can't because my eyes pick up on the coloured rainbow artefacts. It'd be so much easier if I just didn't see them. I do have a very nice JVC D-ILA projector though so problem solved :)

David, those 'Coloured Rainbow Artefacts' , are they similar to posterisation / False Contouring ?. Your PJ sounds great, Must be great to a Real cinema at home  8). Could you imagine the issues i might find with one  :o LOL .
