I have been very influenced by your positive review of the Pioneer LX508D and have since purchased one. However I have one dissapointment and I wonder if others who have bought the monitor have experienced the same problem. The problem is that one can perceive a "halo" around images and this occurs both with live broadcast and DVD media input. It is most apparent when the images are small such as with text or long shots of a football game. And for example at present in viewing the world snooker championships where the balls on the table all have a halo around them. White halos with dark balls and a black halo with light balls. The overall effect is one of "a lack of focus" but very annoying when watching sport where the picture often changes to a long shot to show more of the game when the players become small and become somewhat diffuse due to the halo's. Have others observed this effect and is their a set-up solution?
