Thank You Vincent!

It would be very useful having a best set-up (according to you) for PS3, Standard TV and Satellite sources.

Many thanks

Best regards,

Marco

Do you already know if the conclusion of the review will be more positive or more negative?

Thank you Vincent!  Your opinion and expertise are very important for many people, including myself.   Grin

I hope not to have been too insistent! (like Gorgon...)   Tongue

Hi Vincent,

You probably know that but just in case you didn't I'd like to point it out:
you're the first one to deliver a decent review of KDL40W4000 on the web, at least in English.

I'm wondering what's your impression concerning the screen ability to handle colour.
Is it on par with its predecessor? I can't wait to learn about your findings !

Based on your review I'm going to decide whether KDL40W4000 or KDL40W3000 is the one for me.

Cheers !

Thanks Vince! You wrote that RGB Full for PS3 doesn't work - isn't this a "bad" thing?

I' m so happy with this review Vincent, thank you  Grin
I already took the plunge tho and ordered one at the end of april, but it stil hasn' t arrived yet  Sad
It will be delivered next week the 29th of may Cheesy

One question, could you please publish your " ideal" calibration settings for the tv, like you did for the W2000 and W3000 ?
That would be the icing on the cake!

Greetings

Is it possible to get somie info on watching Soccer on FreeView? European Cup is coming up and it's pretty important to be able to watch Sweden take the gold medal  Cheesy

Hey Vincent,

Nice review! Makes me happy to read it because I ordered mine before you'd reviewed it Shocked)

I'm no expert in calibration and such, but can you give some directions in how to improve the PQ using the standard menu's (no service menu)?
Or is it worth the money to let someone do it for you? (Although I don't know anyone who calibrates sets and that doesn't help in me trusting someone). Also, does it violate the warranty rules?

Greetz,
Niels R.

Thanks for the review Vincent, much obliged!

Would you see any reason for a current Sony W3000 owner to upgrade to W4000? Has there been anything in the W4000 that you consider to be a significant improvement over the previous W3000 series? I'm especially interested in motion resolution since I feel this issue is perhaps the worst single aspect of the otherwise divine W3000.
