Thanks for the review, it has helped in my decision to purchase one  Cool

I was wondering though, you mention the IR is a bit worse than the Panasonics, but I have read some pretty bad things about it on a few forums where some people are experiencing IR after only a few seconds of the TV's own info boxes being on the screen.

Is this how it behaved on the set you reviewed?  Would you say it's suitable for gaming?

Also could you explain how the 3:2/2:2 detection (Film Mode) works as I am trying to figure out why this needs to be a selectable if the TV is able to auto detect the cadence and change de-interlacing method on the fly.
