30ms input delay difference between pz80 and pz85?

Hello everyone!

I am looking for a hdtv with as little input lag as possible and was thinking about a panasonic plasma. But I got a little confused when I read the reviews if panasonic pz80 and pz85. It's said that the pz80 is on par with f96 but that the pz85 is 30 ms faster than f96. How can it differ 30 ms between the pz80 and pz85? Shouldn't these sets be almost identical, the same processor etc?

sorry I don't know the answer to your question but do you know how much input lag the sets are meant to have ?
I have the 42pz70 and when I tested it , it was about 70ms, although I only took 1 picture and you're meant to take lots and take an average......

Don't know about the pz70, but according to the tests done on this site the input lag on pz80 is suppoused to be around 30ms (on par with samsung f96 and px80). When I compared a pz80 with a px80 together with a Nintendo Wii, px80 was alot faster than pz80 though. Might this has to do with the low resolution on Wii?

Pz85 (with ifc off) on the other hand is said to have a input lag that is 30ms faster than samsung f96, which is equal to sony w4000, and probably as fast as a crt-monitor. It feels strange that pz85 is 30ms faster than pz80, doesn't it? I meen, shouldn't there be the same processors etc in both tv's?
