Looking for new TV, am I silly
« on: 18 May 2007, 12:31:34 AM »
Hi All

When I start looking for something new, a TV, a new amp etc I find downloading the user manual from the manufactures web site helps, my wife thinks I silly.

I went round my brothers house last week, he's looking for a new TV, and he is sat there reading a manual he down loaded the previous evening. His wife thinks he's silly as well.

Just wondering if we are the only ones who do this?

Rich

I know what you mean, there are just to many TVs to choose from.

Ignorance is bliss until someone points out the 4 dead pixels on your screen. Haha.

But seriously, I think most people have TV hunting the other way around. They compare specs first then decide what they want. Its much better to come out with your preference before doing this. It's hard but definitely pays off in the end.
