Would it possible to include input lag testing in the reviews?

It's not particularly difficult but it's rarely part of the suite of tests used in most reviews. You basically need a camera with a shutter speed of 1/1000s or faster, a video stopwatch with ms precision & a way of sending the video to the test display & a reference monitor:
  • 'clone mode' output from a computer graphics card works - one output to the TV, one to a CRT monitor
  • Alternatively a VGA or DVI splitter will work, but if you use the DVI you need to know the lag of the 2nd monitor you are testing against
