Now with the surge in x265 10bit files available, i'm thinking of buying a NVidia Android TV to serve as media player, my question is:

Is the Panasonic VT60 capable of showing 10bit videos?

The electronics can accept a 10-bit input, but whether or not it actually retains those 10 bits without truncating all through the processing path is very hard to say, because plasma displays add quite a lot of dithering noise by design. In fact, they can't actually reproduce an 8-bit image without dither.

It's been a while guys!

But I have my vt60 now for abouty 18 months. First time ever that I have been really satisfied with a TV.

No strange blobs, vertical banding etc etc.

Only once every 1500 hours orso I do a slight recalibration and then all is perfect again.

Really love this TV still.
