Just looking, if anyone is travelling with family to this event. Twycross Zoo is only forty minutes away, so something there to keep the family busy while we enjoy the shootout.

Its a shame I won't be able to make this event. I would love to catch up with Dr.Scott again (he is a hero of mine), and meet everyone else. The people who are going to attend will be in for a treat. Enjoy everyone.

Just been looking at and playing around with the Sammy F8500 & Panny VT65.  :o :o :o :o

The Sammy for me just edged it but this was in a brightly lit store (JL Newcastle), so don't read to much into that..........can't wait to see these set up properly.

Just to update you all, the screens that will be at this event are as follows.

Pioneer PDPLX6090, Samsung PS51F8500, UE55F8000, Panasonic TXL55WT65, TXP55VT65, TXP60ZT65, LG 84LM960, Philips 46PFL8007.

There may be a couple of other TVs there but at present these are the confirmed ones. We are especially pleased to be able to showcase the LG 84LM960 and 84" 4K TV with native 4K material on display. So if you've never actually seen native 4K before this is definitely something you won't want to miss!

Any chance of getting a KRP in there?

I think that the Lx has an equal now in the VT and ZT

Just wondering if any of Richer Sounds other stores around the country know of and are promoting this event?

Last two posters over on AVF, no competition here just another independent shootout. If you want to join in the conversation you lads are more than welcome as it would make more sense to comment here. :)

Nice one Baz , I'm afraid I am not able to come. We are taking my parents out for the day on Monday, its my dads 79th birthday. If it was 100 mls closer I could pop up and back on the Sunday but 200 is too far.
It would be great if was in my Exeter branch of RS which is just 1 hr drive away from me . :)
