I would love to mate, but going to hang on as long as I can for OLED to be affordable. :)

It's not like we're stuck for image quality given the plasmas we've had over the last few years, and the attentiveness the two top brands have shown. I'll be able to hold out until OLED becomes not-too-extortionately priced!

No indeed  ;D, just wondered if 4K was tempting anyone  :chin:, happy with mine but if Samsung bring out a plasma next year that's reasonably priced and without pops I maybe tempted  ::)

It'll probably tempt me when we get 4K BD, but I won't be buying an LCD. I can't live with the non-uniformity.

Do you think one of the manufacturers could crack LCD uniformity using full array and a big effort now that Pana have said they are ceasing plasma production ?.

They could make it better, but there's really no financial incentive. And if there was, I imagine you wouldn't see it in the UK either...

I'm holding out for a 4k/8k OLED 55"-65" at not a 2nd mortgage price, maybe in for a wait, my Pio may be recycled before that happens :'(.

Been looking around at the various forums and threads for TV's, think I will still stay put with what I have and my DSE  ::), Top sets both plasma and LCD all suffering with issues like blobs, red mist patches, dark shadowy patches, vertical DSE, horizontal bands, red sparkles excessive heat build up...... Just crazy .
