Panasonic claims at its CES 2014 press conference that its new AX800 4K LED TVs will deliver similar picture quality to plasmas. We'll believe it when we see it...

http://www.hdtvtest.co.uk/news/ax800-201401063559.htm

Also, no sign of OLED from them. :(

Warmest regards
Vincent

I am surprised at Panasonic to be honest, I really thought they would have had some sort of OLED offering. :(

Maybe the new Pana lcd's will be good.... A tad fed up with the issues plasma has at an early age  :chin:.

Any projector news, i'm interested in hearing about the Benq W7500 in particular and whether black levels are improved, they should be improved as they are using Dark Chip 3 and the secret menu hack which allows you to fix the iris and clamp it down like a JVC will also help, that should be part of the main menu and not secret, anyways the Benq W7000 had everything going for it but black levels, maybe we should be looking at intra-scene contrast to judge these projectors and great shadow detail, two things the Benq W7000 excelled at, i'd like a few DLP projector reviews please.  ;D

No Samsung plasma at the show, looking to launch some later in the year, maybe, yeah right, very strange I thought they would have tweaked last year's beast into something even better.
65" VT65, Samsung BD-C5900, HT-D455,DA E670 SKY HD+. Atollo LED light strips, Philips Living Colours Lamp Harmony One.

I'm very sure they have.

Shame there's nothing at the show though.
