The probably use AOU new AMVA+ panels that have less color shits. (wider angle)

As you can see here in more details these new AMVA panels don't enhance the viewing angles that much with all colors (solid red and blue less improvements), but it is a big improvement nonetheless for VA and wider angles.

Seems like the only 1080p with full array local dimming, for European market is the Toshiba L7400 with the radiance panel.

Last year models had a bad viewing angle :

Let's see if the impression avforum had is actually true !

Those reports look very promising. Would be great for HDTVtest to get one on the bench........maybe this year. :)

+1

I am almost sold out on L7400 either the 47" or the 55" or the 58" L5400 (depending on price)

Obviously they use completely new panels and in house manufacturing this year along with new speaker system. (otherwise it can't be justified the great impression that other people had as CES 2014)

Not to mention they revised their horrible software interface. (that was basically useless and very slow)

Fingers crossed for a cheap and potent lineup.

If you look at last year prices Toshiba had the lowest prices compared to Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Sony, Sharp in Europe and USA even for their top tier products.

As a side note, the same can be seen on Hard Disk Drive market, where after making a serious analysis i found out Toshiba is selling the same 3TB HDD at almost half the price compared to Seagate & Western Digital.
