LG42LS575T No standby light so can't turn it on.
« on: 14 January 2015, 08:50:00 AM »

I have had the above TV for only 2 years and suddenly there is no red standby light so I can't turn it on.   I've checked the plug fuse and power lead with an ohm meter and it's all OK. I can't find an external reset button or anything like that so has anyone any ideas?

If you checked the power lead and the fuse, but TV is not even powering up, there's a big chance that power supply has failed.
Sorry, but looks like you'll have to contact a repair service. :(
